Lisbon, with no surprise, comes up on top of our list and in european rankings, as well as it also appears as one of the most vegan-friendly cities in Europe.

With a large tourist flow and the largest population density in the country, it is not surprising the adjustment of our beautiful capital to this trend. Home to the largest number of 100% vegan restaurants (27 in total) and vegetarian restaurants (34 in total), it also has a large number of restaurants with options for vegetarians and vegans.

There are also more and more “specialty” events standing out: the Veggieworld, the Veganário or, the most recent one, the VeggieVibes. We can already eat the vegan version of the ex-libris of the “house”: Pastel de Belém. From Lisbon, to the World.
